This past weekend I had the WORST experience I have ever had at this place.....the owner belittled our guest of honor - overcharged each meal on our tab - threw three one dollar bills at me when I questioned a charge that didn't match the cost on the printed menu - then would not provide a copy of my cash receipt when I requested it......it used to be my favorite place....ne...

I must admit Nelson's menu is great. It has really changed downtown dining in Erie. As of late, my visits were disappointing. The food quality has really gone down since the summer. The specials are nothing like they were. I hope they can regroup and put out the great food like they did when the first opened. I will still go to Nelson's but it isn't nearly as good as it was and not even close to a top restaurant in the area. Last summer I thought it was the best with the great seafood special...

I dined at Latino's for the first time last night. It was a very enjoyable experiance. Julio the owner is very helpful in helping chose items from the menu and describing each item you may be interested in and advising which Mexican beer you may like. I had the Queso Fundido and the Comida Corrida both of which were excellant. I will be back. Thank you again Julio.

A Reuben PIZZA - do I need to say anything else? It is a must have. I love the atomosphere of this Cafe too - warm and neighborly is a good way to describe it. I'd like to keep this little gem all to myself, but unfortunately I know what happens if the word doesn't get out, so tell your friends.

Excellent restaurant! Finding authentic Mexican food in Erie still astounds me -- but they have it. It was like eating at the places I've experienced while traveling through Mexico. I especially recommend the pollo en mole -- truly delicious. Julio et al have created a beautiful place with fantastic food that you'd be nuts not to try.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Erie. I have eaten here many times and I have never been disappointed. My favorite is the Chilean Sea Bass entree and for dessert the best Creme Brulee ever!

Just found this great coffee house last week 2/18/10. Just love it. Friendly, down to earth owners/managers.....great atmosphere...AND the coffee is delicious. Saw one of the best Jazz bands ever there today and it was free! Will frequent this business often. Keep up the good work!

New place in town that just opened up. The food was fantastic and the service was great and fast to get in and out for lunch if you are in the area of downtown. The downfall is the parking we had a hard time finding a parking space at the prime lunch hour. I had the Thai garden with the shrimp. I must say it was very delicious. I would highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

You might think Lombo’s is the new kid on the block, having just opened, but owners David and Mary are no rookies. They offer a variety of standards with their unique twist. Great place for lunch, casual dinner and convenient location to grab take-out. The soups and salads are always fresh and homemade; the chicken wrap w/ranch on the side is a favorite of mine. And, ditto other recommendations; the back area provides a great place for social gatherings or business meetings.

If you want to try something different this is the place for you. I felt like I was on vacation with all the Jamaica music playing. The food was great and the service was fast to get in and out of quick. I had the Orange Jerk Chicken that was out of this world. They had a lot of rum inspired desserts that also looked great.

Great place to hang out with friends and have coffee or lunch. When I was there they had a great Jazz band playing. I would highly recommend if you are in the downtown area.
