A 1939 Art Deco Diner towed into Oakley, UT- in 2006 from Road Island. After a year of restoration it was re-opened in 2007 as the Road Island Diner. It was once on exhibition at the 1939 Worlds Fair in New York. This diner was the Cadillac of Diners for its day. The history associated with it is fascinating. It's authenticity and beauty is unmatched. Once there you'll be transported back into time. Sorry, I got off the subect of their food. Any-who, the diner offers great food, friendly and fast service, plus a nostalgic atmosphere. You've got to see this place (eat, too) and by all means bring your camera. Oh ya, I remember back in the day.....!
