I have eaten here many times with family and friends. Great "home cooked" food in a warm friendly atmosphere. The specials are always a good choice...and the strawberry rhubarb pie is awesome!

This is a family favorite! We have never had a bad meal here, and my two girls-5 and 2- love it here! It's very kid friendly, and there are stuffed animals hanging all over the walls, which keeps the kids entertained! My absolute favorite is the graham cracker cream pie! It's the best I've ever had, and we also love the cinnamon pancakes, really, everything is good! I have to keep going, to fully experience the whole menu, we seem to always go for breakfast.

My family and I love to go to Lorie's, especially since they built the new restaurant. It has such great atmosphere inside and out. Even if it looks like a lot of people are waiting for a table, the wait is never too long. I highly recommend the quesadillas.

Lorie's is truly a gem. The food is great and inexpensive. Weekends are usually crowded, but the it moves quickly and is worth the wait.

This is the place to go if you want a "down home" feeling. We stopped for lunch on a Saturday and found the environment to be very pleasant and the staff was excellent! Our food arrived very quickly and fresh. The portions were very generous.....enough for seconds. Enjoy!

This is a wonderful place to relax, especially for breakfast. We don't feel packed in like many breakfast places, and you get more of the personal touch. My wife and I love their omelets and they are served pretty fast also. Their dinners don't measure up to breakfast, but they aren't bad either. The atmosphere is really unique and rustic, sometimes it feels like you are in a rustic lodge. Not as "kid friendly" as Twins down the road or nearby Pittsburgh Inn, so if you have kids in tow you might want to try another place.

Great atmosphere for hunters and outdoor lovers. The food comes in really big portions and is homestyle cooking. Great desserts. You won't be disappointed.

Very nice decor - reminded me of something you'd find at Disney. Service was very friendly and actually made enthusiastic suggestions - something rare in Erie. Food was excellent, pie outstanding. We loved it and will be back for more...

I hadn't eaten at this restaurant since they relocated. My grandma and I stopped in this morning for breakfast. I was very impressed. The food was excellent and the decor provides a relaxing, "family owned", "home cooking", "log cabin" type of restaurant. I had the western omelette which was awesome (and BIG!) The food was fresh and the service was great. After this experience and after seeing the rest of the menu, you can bet I'll be back for lunch and dinner sometime!

Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This cabin-style restaurant provides excellent meals and service. Everyone there is very friendly. I try to go at least one or twice a month for breakfast. My recommendations would be the ham & cheese omelette or the homemade piergoies. And for dessert, you can't beat the triple berry pie! :)

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times for breakfast and have never been disappointed. The omelets are just like the ones I make at home and I'm very picky about "my" omelets. A lot of food for the price!

Apparently a pretty popular place. I visited here on a Saturday with a bunch of my friends (8 people in total) and the place was pretty packed. I did try to make a reservation but they don't take reservations (read-on and you'll understand why not) so we just showed up around 6 p.m.

The place was pretty full but they did manage to find us a place and rearranged the tables to accommodate our group. After we sat down, our waiter came right over and after we ordered the beverages, he was right back with the drinks for all of us. Slowly we put our dinner orders in (I had a prime rib that was on special).

Now, we had a good time because, as I mentioned, there was 8 of us and we had a good discussion. Seeing how busy the restaurant was and considering that we just ordered 8 dinners, some with salads, some with soups, I expected to wait for a while. I was absolutely amazed when the waiter came back in about 10 minutes (with 2 other helpers carrying plates of food) and served us all with our dinner choices. You don't see this often these days!

Anyhow, I recommend this place very much.
