    They have the best cheesesteak sandwich outside of Philadelphia. Very comparable to Pat's or Geno's. My favorite is the super cheesesteak with mushrooms and green peppers.

    Pio's has amazing pizza, 3 sauce choices, all of the best toppings. Very accomodating if you want to customize any dish. They don't advertise they have beer but don't be afraid to ask they probably have some, we were surprised with a nice Southern Tier mix pack. Little known fact they have the best chocolate chip cookies in town!

    Pio's is outstanding; the service is excellent and the pizza is the best in Erie. My view is that Pio's sauce is what makes the pizza so incredible. Their daily dinner specials are hard to beat. A great Erie tradition, give Pio's a try -- you will not be disappointed.

    I was so excited when we heard that Pio's was open again to have their pizza and wings for our blog. I guess they had a fire in the fall and many people don't realize they're open again. So hope this blog can help spread the word. I imagine all of the struggles they went through without the business income and rebuilding ... but that's one of the things I love about Erie, the sense of community.     Pio's has the best pizza in town! We love the thin crust and pepperoni. We are so glad they are back open after the fire, we missed them!!!

    Just down from St. Ann's RC Church on a great old-time street, East Ave. My grandparents from East 3rd and Dunn Blvd. turned me on to this place when I was a boy and I've been going here for great pizza and chicken wings ever since. My grandparents have since passed but I still go back to this great neighborhood to eat.
